Ever year, the CFA Institute runs the, 'CFA Institute Investment Research Challenge (IRC)'. An annual competition for university students across the world, it requires students who enter to work in university-based teams and put together a presentation on a company in the style of an analyst working in an investment bank or fund management firm.
There were 23 entries in EMEA this year and the winners are from the Stockholm School of Economics. Their presentation is on Autoliv, an automotive safety company. The CFA Institute has kindly provided us with a copy of this winning entry and we have published it below as a benchmark for what's required if you're a university student who wants to get into financial services.
