People News: Moves at Deutsche, Citi, Baird, Goldman and Janney

Deutsche named Henry Ritchotte as chief operating officer, while Stuart Lewis will take over as the firm’s chief risk officer. Meanwhile, Stephan Leithner will lead the bank’s human resources, legal and compliance division. And in the firm’s investment banking unit, Colin Fan, who works in the emerging-markets division of the bank, will oversee sales and trading. Robert Rankin, Deutsche Bank’s head of its Asian operations, will lead the origination and advisory businesses. [NY Times]

Raj Sethi, who headed Goldman Sachs’ commodity-derivatives trading group, quit after 14 years with the firm. [Hedge Fund Net]

Adam Sieminski, formerly Deutsche Bank’s chief energy economist, became a White House adviser. [Reuters]

Janney lured wire-house advisers Peter Sampson, Kenneth Wiland and Morgan Purvis, as well as two assistants, to its Aiken, S.C. office from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, where they managed a combined $380 million. [Investment News]

Rodney Tsang and Roger Zhu will run Citigroup’s investment bank in the greater China region. [Bloomberg]

Baird snapped up 12 financial advisors with a total of $1.93 billion in assets under management from firms including Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. [On Wall Street]
