Basic question:

There is a company looking for a £4m investment. In Y0, the company has revenue of £10m and EBITDA of £0.9m for the full year. It is expected to grow to £30m revenue.

In year 5, the company is expected to have £30m revenue and £5m EBITDA.

5 members of Management each own 20% of the business.

How much would you pay for the business?
How would you structure the investment, assuming:
a) minority stake
b) majority stake

How would you approach this question?

I have a wide academic background (BA in Economics – in English – two University Masters and currently I am studying the CIIA and CEFA) however, and due to the almost exclusively dedication to this academic profile my professional experience is not as extensive as I would like it to be and my desire is to get this experience within a financial institution in the US. Nevertheless I have been rejected in one and each of the jobs applied and I wonder which could be the problem and how can I improve my CV o cover letter in order to be more attractive, despite living abroad

Is CFA level 1 valuable to the employer without experience when recruiting???

After being made redundant from a Middle office Banking role in 2009, I started a finance role in real estate, while continuing to look for a Banking role, but have found nothing since. Is there a way back in considering the banking gap on my CV?
