Paul Clarke is global editor at eFinancialCareers in London. He covers investment banking, asset management, hedge funds and technology in banking. Before joining eFinancialCareers, Paul spent six years working for various titles within Financial Times’ business publishing division and two years working for specialist publisher Hedge Fund Intelligence. He has a degree in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting from Cardiff University.
Sarah Butcher is the UK editor of eFinancialCareers and writes widely for the English language sites. Prior to joining eFinancialCareers full time, Sarah wrote weekly pieces on hiring and pay for Financial News. She has also written for the Financial Times, the Independent, the Telegraph and the Sunday Times. Sarah is a graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.
Simon Mortlock works is APAC editor for eFinancialCareers. Simon has degrees in Law and History from the University of Auckland, as well as a post-graduate diploma in Journalism.
Dan Butcher is the New York-based editor, North America, at eFinancialCareers. Previously, he was assistant managing editor at InvestmentNews, Crain Communications’ financial adviser-focused publication. Prior to that, he wrote for a number of SourceMedia publications, including Financial Planning and On Wall Street, and previously worked as associate interactive editor at Ignites and FundFire, the Financial Times sister publications covering asset management and wealth management. Dan earned his Bachelor’s degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Master’s degree from New York University.
Florian Hamann is responsible for the German-language websites of eFinancialCareers, writing mainly about the financial job markets in Germany and Switzerland. Florian studied Philosophy, History and Business Administration in Berlin, Fribourg (Switzerland) and Paris, and holds a MA and a PhD. He also passed a two-year training programme in journalism at the Oldenburgische Volkszeitung in the 1990s and went on to publish articles in the Berliner Zeitung and Die Welt. Before joining eFinancialCareers, Florian worked as a personal assistant to the head of communications of a major German engineering company and as an editor and website manager of the German financial, website boerse.de.
Thierry Iochem is the editor of eFinancialCareers.fr. He joined eFC in 2007 as a freelancer based in Paris. Thierry holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from ESJ Paris and has written for various French newspapers such as Les Echos, L’Agefi and Fusions & Acquisitions Magazine. Before joining eFinancialCareers, he also worked for Paperjam.lu, a financial website based in Luxembourg.
