• Amy gives very sound advice in her well-written article.  Stealth techniques to help you get identified by the bot also include the "white (=invisible) ink" keyword list at the bottom of the cv.  I learned about this for the very first time at the NYSSA/eFinCareers seminar that took place on August 14.  I wonder if it works?  Getting a real person to facilitate your introduction to the hiring manager still works the best once you have real job specs in hand and the mandatory e-application submitted.

• I have had two excellent interviews where I have made it to the final cut and in both I avoided the process altogether and put a package together and mailed it directly to the president of both companies.  It is crucial in this day where positions are receiving 300+ resumes to get someone's attention and if you feel that you match up closely to what they are looking for that you make the extra effort.
