Glocap Will Place HR Professionals

Glocap Search launched a strategic human resources practice, placing all levels of HR professionals into private equity and hedge fund firms. The new practice is co-headed by Terry Kassel, a former global head of human resources at Merrill Lynch, and Ruthanne Feinberg, a Glocap executive who leads the worldwide retained search firm's own internal recruitment efforts.
Glocap's clients in the alternative investment space "have become more sophisticated in building their HR practices, and Glocap’s demonstrated excellence will provide further leverage for its clients," said Kassel in a statement. The new practice will recruit specialists in employee relations, staffing/recruiting, training/development, compensation, benefits and diversity, among other areas.
After leaving Merrill Lynch, Kassel advised private equity and hedge funds on executive talent assessment, institutionalizing talent review processes and driving alignment and accountability in portfolio and management companies, the New York-based retained search firm said.
