masters in Economics and Statistics

One in Economics and the other one in Statistics. I am also studying CFA. What kind of financial job fits this background? I have worked in credit card industry operations analysis for two years, how can I land a job in financial investment ?

  • You probably want to look for Quantitative Research Analyst positions--sometimes companies will require a PhD's but with two Masters and first level CFA under your belt I am sure you would be equally qualified. Quant positions require lots of financial modeling and statistical analysis usually involving some program ie Excel, EViews, etc.
