  • Here is a cool-looking site that visually depicts the top 50 US business schools as ranked by U.S. News & World Report (with links to each educational institution): http://www.mibazaar.com/education/business_school.html

In addition to U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings, you can also look at BusinessWeek's rankings. (Although the first headline on that BusinessWeek online page refers to "The Best Undergrad B-Schools," beneath it is a series of tabs that show separate lists for full-time MBA, part-time MBA, and EMBA programs.) -Jon Jacobs, eFinancialCareers News staff

  • I got my MSFA (Master of Science in Financial Analysis) which is very quant oriented and similar to MSF at the University of San Francisco. It is taught by some of the same people who teach the Master of Financial Engineering at Berkeley. I also know that Boston University and London School of Economics both have Master of Science in Finance programs. Go to their websites to check it out.

  • Priceton has a MS in Finance that is very quant oriented, USF has a strong program as well. Univ of Delaware has a MS in Finance program that you might want to look into. Good luck with your search.

  • Berkeley, Princeton, NYU, Chicago, Columbia, Stanford, Cornell - all these schools have very prestigious Financial Math/Quant Finance MS programs. If you are looking for non-quant MS programs, your best bet is an MBA with Finance focus.

  • Villanova University outside of Philadelphia also has a strong quant/application-focused MSF program.
