  • A "treasurer position" can mean different things in different organizations. CFA charter holders are often found in research, analysis, asset (investment)/ liability management, trading, ALM and consulting jobs. My understanding of the CTP program is that it relates more to treasury operations roles including cash management/ forecasting, payments, etc. Most treasurers that I have met have been more operationally focused and therefore CTP type training is probably more common.
