Graduating law student with 6 months hedge fund compliance experience. What's my best approach here?

Most compliance positions want a JD and at least a couple of years of experience. How do I break in? What's my best angle for getting into finance? (I have a science background and a year of grad school in neuroscience under my belt). So far, no luck at all (except more internship opportunities). Thanks.

  • Join the SEC, given current circumstances, there ought to be a surplus of demand there at all levels of experience. Highly transportable later in your career.
