  • Not that difficult really. If you come from the top 5 universities your chances get higher! I had clasmates in grad school in London. A couple of them in their 30s with no job experience. SOrt of like, people who enjoyed life early on. Within 2 months they got a job at prestigious financila houses. But then again, 2 years ago, the employment market was robust. Your obstacle now is the ongoing financila turmoil and recession. Good things come to those who wait.

  • The answer is generally yes because of the current economic cirsis but it actually depends on several issues: - which job are you looking for ? IB, PE or a job for a large industrial corporation - where would you like to work ? Only London or another vey large city ? - how many European languages do you know ? Only English is a minus while the knowledge of several "unsual" languages (i.e. Arab or North African dialects or New Europe languages) could be a plus vis-à-vis international employers

  • Not that easy if you aren't an EU citizen. You need to be sponsored. However, if you went to a top school some countries (eg. UK) offer visas.
