Do US banks regularly employ UK banking personnel who do not have a US visa?

I'm from the UK, a Chartered Accountant, with 15 years Corporate Banking experience mostly in leveraged finance, plc client banking and real estate. Family love the US and we would love to move over. With no other right to a visa, do Banks in the US recruit UK banking staff and arrange for visas to be granted? How does it work? Many thanks.

  • Neil, There are a lot of people who would like to do the same. In my humble opinion, it would be very tough to get into the US for exployment reasons since there currently is an oversupply of resources in the market due to the hige layoffs that have happened. That doesnt mean you cant try but the chances seem slim. Hope that helps.

  • I would try, but for the moment is tough. I would try Michael Page. This is your best shot.
