How useful is a CAIA designation for getting opportunities/jobs on the buyside? Is it worth the time?

I already have my advanced degree in Finance & Investment. I was wondering more as a complement to my degree and my experience in structuring and fixed income valuations.

  • Hello, From everything I've been told the CFA is the way to go in terms of job opportunities on the buy side. However, if you have the CFA and want to "specialize" in alternatives the CAIA can be beneficial. FinanceLady
