  • To make a more positive first impression, you should learn how to write properly, without resorting to run-on sentences. In addition, do not offer your age upfront. Rather, stress your professional credentials and your vision.

  • Well one thing you can learn from the younger generation like me is that there is no such thing as "Stability" anymore. Companies will fire you as soon as things look bad and will turn around and hire hungry 23 year olds when things look up. At your age and experience I would into teaching, get a gig teaching masters levl accounting or something. How about starting your own company? I'm more than 20 years yonger than you but I have learnt rather painfully that if you are looking for stability from a company then you are probably looking in the wrong place.
