How does one get into investment research in spite of quant background?

Hello fellow efinancialers. Here is a question for you. Suppose that I have a year's experience in a quant role and would like to do investment research - how do I get my foot in the door?

  • You could try political risk consulting, it is typically a qualitative pursuit so no need for advanced calculus. It will probably pay less, though.
