What could I learn from an intern of a mutual fund distributor?
I am interning with a mutual fund distributor for the coming summer, all I know is that I will be sending out emails to different companies and have them to sign the sales agreement. But besides sending email, I would like to know what else I can learn from the company. What other duties I could request from my boss so that I could learn more? I am actually interested in asset management, will interning with a distributor help get into that path? Thanks.
