Is an MSFA and a CFA, with only a year of work experience enough to get hired by an I-bank?
I obtained my undergraduate degree from a small private college 2 years ago, level 1 of the CFA and have been working for an investment advisor in Hawaii since then. I recently moved to New York to puruse a career in research or I-banking and the search has not been well. I am now thinking of getting a Masters in Science Financial Analysis degree and finishing up my CFA. Good or bad idea?
