Question: how long does it usually takes to hear from recruiters after one applies on loine.?

  1. It is basically a FOK (fill or kill) scenario – if you are a perfect match, they will be in touch very shortly. If not, you may be a lower number on the list.

    In some cases, however, the processing takes long – in which case I advise caution regarding the professionalism of the recruiter.

  2. From my experience, some recruiters never reply whilst others send an immediate computer generated acknowledgement.

    These days there are so many people applying for jobs that you have to follow up your application with a phone call if you are serious. Better still, try and arrange a meeting because without that you are unlikely to be considered for the interview stage.

  3. In my opinion, if they are interested, within 24 hours. But definately within a couple days.
