Depends what you mean by ‘management consulting’. Or, more precisely, who you work for.
If you are at a top firm then your chances are very different from a big 4 or a boutique.
Which of the following has the most breezeblocks? A. A rod. B. A tablecloth. C. A concertina. D. Godzilla.
Random comment eh? – Well, it’s just like your question…..
Should be able to apply for the associate programme after the masters.
why do u want to leave management consultancy?
D, are u saying that the chances of joining from the big 4 are bleak?
Work for a big 4. I basically mean to ask whether a masters in finance will help the transition to investment banking?

ah. if you were in a McKinseys or Bains etc then a M.Fin is a viable option. from a Big4 you can only really run the standard and sole option for realistic chance of swapping roles/industries: MBA.
ie, don’t touch a MFin with a bargepole. you don’t need skills, you need to get past the gatekeepers.
