you need to be attentive to the update information of the banking sections like balance sheet of banks, turn over ratios, p & l , quaterly, half, annual reports of the bank.
Currently, banks concentrate on hiring Saudis. For specialized jobs, expatriates are hired but please keep in mind, Saudi Banking sector is heavily tilted towards locals as they are shamelessly promoted as well as groomed as compared with expatriate employee. Career advancement is almost non existent for expatriates.
It is very good but very difficult to get a job as expatriate I found according my experience. Also many portfolio managers are saying that they are brokers but the real business is portfolio manager and not brokerage business
